Nur Onvural

Nur is the owner and president of SilverCrest Homes by Nur, a high-end custom building company of exceptional luxury homes.

Based in Cary, North Carolina, SilverCrest Homes by Nur has built several exceptional properties, including the 2006 Leukemia Showcase, a $1,950,000 home that raised $180,000 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In addition, several of her homes have been featured in the annual Parade of Homes.

Possessing an eye for the exceptional detail, Nur is dedicated to guiding you through the process of building your dream home. She works with the best architects and subcontractors in the region, and has built a reputation for keeping her word and delivering properties that are masterfully constructed, gorgeous to the eye and a warm retreat for those who live within.

Tightly woven into the community, Nur is a respected business owner. Her home is in Cary, NC, where she has lived for 20 years. She is on the Board of the Women Business Owners Network of Cary (as the Treasurer), and is also an Ambassador for Cary Chamber of Commerce.

She began SilverCrest Homes by Nur after building her own home from 2000 to 2002. During this process, she found herself totally engaged in design functions and planning areas usually handled by the builder team. That process was so enjoyable, fascinating and interesting to her that she decided to start SilverCrest in 2004. Since then, Nur has built several luxury custom homes as well as a list of satisfied clients who have benefited from the time, care and special attention she pays to helping you build your dream home.

Nur enjoys every aspect of the process of building one-of-a-kind custom homes -- from design to completion -- and she will be with you every step along the way as you make the many selections and decisions involved with building your home.

She strives for a collaborative effort that brings harmony to each project. In addition, her acumen and competence with financials and communications provide her customers with the trust and peace of mind they need while turning their dreams into amazing homes.

Nur holds a General Contractors License and is a member of the Raleigh/Wake Home Builders Association. She also has a PhD in Economics and teaches health economics to MHA/MBA students on a part time basis at Pfeiffer University. Prior to starting her own business, Nur taught principles of economics at North Carolina State University. Before that, she worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina as a project manager designing, developing and implementing several cutting edge projects.
